What #VALUE! means
A value in the formula is of the wrong type. In Spanish versions of Excel the same error appears as #¡VALOR!.
Common causes
- Text was used where a number is needed, often a number with a hidden space.
- Ranges in a function like SUMPRODUCT have different sizes.
- A number is written with the wrong decimal mark for your regional settings.
- A date is stored as text.
How to fix it
- Clean the cells with TRIM or VALUE.
- Make sure all ranges are the same size.
- Check that decimals use the mark your Excel expects.
